About the Position

We are currently looking for restaurant and kiosk staff to strengthen our team during the maintenance outages at Forsmark! A driven person who sees opportunities, brings new ideas, and has a desire to develop. You should be stress-resistant, able to take initiative, and provide excellent service to our guests. You should be able to collaborate with others to deliver a product to the customer that we can be proud of.

Job tasks include preparation of sandwiches, salads, and raw food buffets. Ensure that the dining area/kiosk and surrounding areas are well-maintained and give a good impression. Cash handling in the restaurant and kiosk. As always, working in a kitchen involves a lot of dishwashing and cleaning, as well as heavy lifting.

Every year, maintenance outages are conducted at the Forsmark nuclear power plant where each generator is shut down for maintenance, regulatory-required tests, and upgrades. This is to ensure a safe operating season. The preliminary dates for this year's outages are:

• March 8 - April 4
• April 12 - May 27
• September 6 - November 17

Primarily, we are looking for staff for the maintenance outage dates, but work before, between, and after these dates may also be available. Working hours are distributed between 05:00-00:00 – Monday - Sunday. The work location is Forsmark.

Your Background

The requirements you must meet are that you are at least 18 years old and can speak and write Swedish fluently. It is an advantage if you have experience working in a restaurant, cold kitchen, or large kitchen. It is also beneficial if you have a B driver's license to easily commute to and from work, as bus connections are adapted to office hours.

Since the work is performed at the Forsmark nuclear power plant, it is mandatory to undergo a security interview, background check (Police §14), and drug test. Additionally, several other mandatory trainings will be conducted digitally, which you can do from home. This process can take about 10 weeks or more, so do not wait to submit your application!
